# Post Processor

To convert your toolpaths into G-code, which CNC machines can read, you first need to install a machine-specific preset called a post processor. You can download the attached post processor for the STEP CNC at the wood workshop here:

When you have downloaded your file, you should click on post library in the manufacturing workspace.

Click on Local

Click on Import and choose the file "kinetic-nc.cps" that you downloaded in the beginning of this guide.&#x20;
