# 3D Printing FAQ

<h2 align="center">Guidelines for 3D printing</h2>

* You can use the computer in the 3D printing room to prepare your 3D print. Bring an .stl file on a USB drive and open it in PrusaSlicer.
* You can use the filament supplied by the workshop - white, grey and black (PLA)
* When your print is finished (successful or failed), weigh and pay at the entrance to the Metal Workshop — 0.3 DKK per gram.
* During exam periods, each person may use one printer at a time.&#x20;
* The recommended maximum print size is 230 × 190 × 190 mm (W × L × H).
* Keep an eye on the printer for at least 10 minutes after starting a print.
* Label the printer with your name and phone number when leaving.
* If you need assistance, ask a technology instructor: Torben, Poul, or Emil.
